Building Resilience
Learn skills to adapt and bounce back from adversity, stress, and life's challenges.
Resilience is often not about the event itself, but how you interpret it. Cognitive reframing is the process of identifying and changing the way you think about a stressful situation to see it in a more helpful, balanced light.
Example:
Instead of thinking, "I failed the test, I'm so stupid," a reframe would be, "I didn't pass this time, which is disappointing. I need to figure out a better way to study for the next one."
